Daniel Watney
Established in 1859, Daniel Watney has transformed itself to become a major residential and commercial property agency. Based in Fleet Street, they offer specialist advice and support to landlords, commercial developers, property companies and even local authorities and they needed a website supportive of this extensive business model.
Daniel Watney wanted a website that could elegantly illustrate their brand and highlight their ‘dedicated workforce’. A website capable of not only providing users with smooth navigation and dynamic features but ensuring the ability to reach out to their staff was consistently present.
The key to achieving our client’s goal was through elegantly presenting not only their wealth of services in commercial and residential areas, but the employees also. Our design brought forward employees with clear estate agent profiles and individual property enquiry CTA’s, valuable in a “people” business and in turn increasing our clients’ chance of winning instructions.
Clear CTA’s are embedded in key places throughout the website to support the ease of enquiry: ‘Enquire’’ CTA appears on every property page for supporting conversion; ‘Get In Touch’ CTA, sticking to the screen during scroll, directs users to an open enquiry form resting at the bottom of every webpage; ‘Request Consultation’ minimises the loss of instructions as users can easily request the extra information needed.
Developing a platform that promoted the individual estate agents at every turn, added an element of personality to our client’s website, the direct contact maintained between users and agents dealing with specific properties, ensured the potential for lead conversion was maintained.
The focus on minimising lead loss introduced dynamic features, providing users once again with information. Features such as the ‘Locrating Maps’ filters vital area information such as local schools, transport and amenities. Matterport VR acts as a powerful 3D tool, improving immersion and offering users an early property experience.
The importance of SEO is never forgotten, resulting in high-performing keyword copy embedded throughout headings, meta data and webpage design and in turn improving Daniel Watney’s competitive position in search engines.
