Marble City
Founded in 1969 by Brian O’Regan, Marble City has built a reputation and grew to become London’s leading supplier of specialist stone. From the sourcing of the stone itself to site surveying, fabricating, finishing & fitting, they were in need of a digital presence that reflected the vast array of services they provide and a platform that takes customers on a digital journey of the stone.
Beginning with brand design, we settled on a ‘Greek Marble Pillar’ icon for the logo, reflective of services provided and one of their main stone source locations; the brand identity is now utilised throughout their business, online and in physical stores & on delivery vehicles. In designing the website, our goal was to take customers on a “journey of stone” gracefully presenting options to users on a digital platform that offers the same showroom experience but to a whole new level.
Leading the story is the homepage intro video we created for Marble City, accurately showing the journey stone takes from sourcing to finishing and fitting. The video is a great way to convey and reinforce the brand identity.
Our branding & web design work resulted in an online presence that both our client and us could be proud of, moreover a website fully optimised to support the customer throughout their purchase of such a beautiful product & service. Primary CTAs placed in key areas of the website, even throughout the navigation and the burger menu, ‘Get a Quote’ appearing consistently, entice users to get involved and essentially increase our client’s success rate in sales.
Features such as the dynamic gallery of images and the Material search page offer users inspiration and act as guidance while simultaneously displaying our clients abilities. In addition to that, the website is fully optimised for search engines, with content such as case studies cross-referenced throughout, helping with SEO visibility.
Last but not least, the graceful readjustment of the site on both mobile and tablet, brings the “Journey of Stone” to every device.
