We used Starberry to design and build our new website in 2017, and subsequently to maintain and support it. They made the whole process as easy and inclusive as possible, understanding our requirements from the outset -
from our initial consultation with Ben and Will, through to working up concepts with the design team and creating and delivering the content, the latter overseen by the excellent project management skills of Venu. Our weekly sprint calls ensured the project stayed on track and any issues were quickly resolved. The end result was a website which is fresh and contemporary, fully responsive and easy to use, and, most importantly, which truly represents our brand.
The Property Centres is a well-established estate agency in Gloucestershire & Worcestershire with over 20 years’ worth of sales and lettings experience.
In 2017 they imagined for themselves what a boost to their company’s online profile could possibly look like. The Starberry team planned to deliver on that vision by focusing efforts on creating a website which not only improved the sales and lettings process for their users but was backed by SEO techniques, in turn dramatically improving the client’s online visibility.
Achieving our enhanced UX goal centred on a contemporary design, combining both striking visuals and a user interface optimised for navigation. Coupled with key features and fully backed by SEO techniques.
Resting on bold imagery and primary calls-to-action, such as Request Valuation, the website effortlessly guides users across all available pages. It’s also taken a step further with ‘Enquire Now’ actions made available on all property images to maximise lead generation.
The easily-digestible property system, with components such as the price adjustment slider, alongside other tools such as the mortgage calculator or ‘Google Street View Maps’, were a result of our focus on features with a ‘responsive attitude’, which improved UX at every turn.
Cross-sale SEO practices are interworked throughout the website, so that the most relevant properties are displayed to users while making our client appear where they wish; improving internal backlinks and thus search engines rankings.
The new website was specifically designed for smaller devices, with repositioned content to avoid clutter and unnecessary scrolling. Moreover, strategic positioning of CTA’ s, ‘Free Valuation’ and ‘Offices’ act as fixed overlay buttons while scrolling on mobile. Once again not missing the chance to generate a new lead whether that’s on desktop, mobile or tablets.
The result? A fresh estate agent website illustrating the brand’s offerings while putting the user at the heart of the online experience. The site’s CTAs capture data across the board, data which can then be used continuously to refine UX and in turn improve the company’s online positioning.
